Footballhotels.co.uk is a 'by fans for fans' site. We built this site back in 2004 because there were no other football travel sites out there that provided online hotel bookings right across the UK.

Three and a half years later the site is a resounding success and we thank all those fans that use the service.

But you know what?

We are a little embarrassed.

We do make revenue from this site. Every booking earns us a small commission. We are happy with this as it pays for our football trips but there is a bit left over.

We discussed at length what to do with the cash thats left over. We have sponsored a ball, a player, a golf hole at non league Cambridge City. We don't make enough to sponsor any of the football league clubs.

So after many hours of deliberating in the bar about what we should do, we decided to give the money back to your clubs.

How will it work?

Simple really, when you get back home after you have checked out, send your confirmation email to football hotels and tell us where you want us to send the cash. We are going to donate a third of the commission we earn from your booking to either

a) Your Football Club

b) Your Supporters Trust

c) Your Supporters Club

d) Your Football Fanzine.

Every quarter we will send the monies raised to each of your nominated clubs. We believe this demonstrates that we are committed to you the football fan because we truly are 'by fans for fans'.
